1. Boats may leave from any inlet at any time after 6:00AM. Any fish to be weighed must be brought to Duffy’s Sports Grill inside of Haulover inlet.
2. The official Tournament channel is 72.
3. All boats wishing to weigh a legal fish must be in sight and acknowledged by tournament committee member at Duffy’s Sports Bar (time will be allowed to dock your boat) no later than 4:00PM. After 4:00PM Committee member will not acknowledge you and you will be disqualified.
4. Payout as follows:
1st Heaviest Dolphin 40%
2nd Heaviest Dolphin 30%
3rd Heaviest Dolphin 15%
Big 3 Dolphin 15%
Largest Non-Dolphin (Tuna, Wahoo, Cobia, Kingfish) (10lb minimum) - Free Entry into Next Year’s Tournament
Top Female Angler (Largest Dolphin) (10lb minimum) - Prize Package
Top Junior Angler (Largest Dolphin) (10lb minimum) - Prize Package
5. **Scales will be open beginning at 3:30PM. Ties will be decided by the order the fish are weighed. (The boat that weighs earliest wins the tie). All boat numbers are given at the time of entry and payment.
a. Fish may be brought by vehicle to the weigh station, at your own risk. You must be checked in before the 4:00PM deadline.
6. This is a heaviest fish tournament! All Teams heaviest fish will be placed accordingly.
a. No More than 3 qualifying fish per boat may be weighed for Big 3 category
b. No team may win more than one category of 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place or Big 3. Once you have placed, no more prize money will be awarded to any one team. (Except)*
7. *If only one fish is weighed in the tournament then that team will win all the monies in the remaining categories (2nd, 3rd and Big 3)
a. *If only two fish are weighed in the tournament then the 3rd and Big 3 monies will be divided in a 60/40 split.
b. *If only three fish are weighed in the tournament then the Big 3 monies will be divided in a 45/35/20 split.
8. Teams are reminded of the legal size limit of 20” Minimum fork length; And 10 fish per person bag limit must be observed.
9. Any team presenting a fish or knowingly breaking these laws will automatically be disqualified.
10. **Fishing Boundaries: The fishing limits of this tournament are the waters of the United States, no more than thirty five (35) miles offshore. There are no Northern or Southern Boundaries
11. Entry Refusal: The Tournament Committee reserves the right to refuse tournament application or entry from any prospective entrant with or without cause in its sole discretion. Any applicant refused entry shall be entitled to a refund of entry fee
12. Weather Conditions: In the event of unsafe conditions at sea, the Committee, in its best judgment, may call off the Tournament for that day and reschedule when better conditions prevail. Team Captains will be notified of such cancellation and resumption prior to the tournament day. In the event of full cancellation, entry refunds will be made (less necessary tournament expenses) within 30 days.
a. Seas of more than 2’ – 4’ will qualify as unsafe conditions

Hold Harmless: It is expressly understood that all participants in this tournament enter at their own risks, and that the Tournament Committee and its officers and directors, sponsors and all persons connected directly or indirectly with the operation of said tournament, shall be exempt from any liability for libel, slander, loss, damage, negligence, harm, injury or death suffered by any participant, entrant, sport fisherman, his companions, boat captains, mates, crew members, vessels and equipment which may occur during the tournament.
14. By allowing your name to be printed on the entry form, the angler consents that the Tournament Committee may use without payment or restriction, any photographs in which he or she appears for any purpose whatsoever, including, but not limited to resale, advertising, commercial or promotional material. The angler further releases the Tournament Committee, its officers, directors, sponsors and members from any injury, loss or damage which may result.
15. **By signing the entry form and paying the Entry Fee, each team will be considered to have acknowledged reading the rules and release and are bound by the same.

- To measure fork length, lay the fish on its side, measure from the forward-most tip of the mouth to the center of the fork in the tail. The center of the fork will be the closest part of the tail to the mouth.
